Completely unacceptable.
The "apology" seemed forced and weak and I would not recommend this center to anyone.
I went for my first gynecological exam here, made an appointment, and explained to them that I would be a new patient and that this would be my first experience. I wasn't asked to fill out any new patient paperwork, I was barely able to tell them a little of my own health history, and I wasn't even examined once I got there.
I had called to complain to a superior about her unprofessional and unethical behavior, and when they finally called me back, they managed to turn it into MY fault, by saying that I didn't specify what I wanted. I'm sorry, do I need to tell the office everything I want to say to the doctor when making the appointment so they can filter me? They acted as though a pelvic exam was only necessary in an emergency. She did not seem to see anything wrong with how Dr. Kolk treated me.
The doctor -Dr. Kolk, with her little Catholic pin on her lapel- said I was too young (I'm 20) for a pelvic exam and therefore, refused to do it. She then asked if I wanted to age well or age badly, and that was how she segued into exercise. I have a degenerative disability and use a wheelchair on bad pain days, so exercise is not my friend.
Very fast, friendly! Was in and out within maybe an hour! Best place I've been in a very long time! Glad I drove out of my way to go.. Dr.Aretakis was really helpful and informal. Staff was very nice & friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Who says that? How does someone manage to become a doctor while refusing patient care due to their own religious beliefs? I do believe that she broke the Hippocratic Oath by doing so.
If I could give it zero stars I would! Worst place ever. Dr. Kolk takes her religious beliefs and throws them at her patients. No wonder this place has 2 stars the manager let's her doctors do whatever the he'll they want with no consequences. My son's girlfriend who is 20 left crying because this wrenched woman was so bad. Telling her she should be married before sex and men won't respect her. REFUSED to give her a pap which she came in for because she's too young! But wanted to talk about how she lives her live and her weight! By the way she's 5'4" and 120 lbs. Do go to her! And please don't send your daughters. What a hateful woman!!!
She then told me that she does not believe in birth control, so if I wanted it, I would have to see another doctor, because she wouldn't allow it. She asked a little about my family history and who I'm living with now and when I told her I'm moving in with my partner, she asked if wedding bells were on the way, that way if I accidentally get pregnant, it would make it harder for him to run.
Make sure you get the direct office number once you do find the Dr your looking for.

The Dr i ended up seeing was great so i guess this is more a review of the medical center itself.
Please do not go here, they value themselves over others' lives.
The building is close to impossible to find, no one ever answers the phone when you call. Chances are you went to the fire station on 7300 S Canton Center Rd only to discover that 7300 doesn't exist there and is on N Canton Center Rd.
She ordered unnecessary testing on me (a ploy to get money into her own pocket, perhaps), too- thyroid testing and chlamydia testing even though I had declined std testing.
When I first came to this place I thought it was very nice. I bring my kids to see Dr banister which they have been seeing him since they were infant's. We would be in and out, i loved it. However one of my kids are ADHD, every time he's do for a medication refill they will have him waiting almost 3 weeks before they actually fill it. A couple times they called saying it was ready, had me drive all the way up there and was told that it wasn't. Please imagine my frustration!!!! So they told me it'll take 24 hrs for them to refill it. I waited a whole week to call and it still wasn't ready so the doctor hasn't seen it yet to sign off on it. I hate this place, I will be looking for another physician. I can't have my son waiting 3 weeks for his medication. This place is horrible
